Topeka bills Shinedown's Lunatic Ball Beach Weekend, which runs October 23 to 25, 2026 at Seascape in Miramar Beach, as just that kind of getaway, built for out-of-towners. This fall, though, the pricing works for someone who drives home afterward. The same goes for the rest of Seascape's calendar through Thanksgiving. Each event can be bought one night, one tasting or one meal at a time.
The first night is Friday, October 23. Here is how to get into each event between now and late November without booking a room.
The Concert Weekend Was Built as a Vacation
Topeka's model has always been travel. Its home page for the Shinedown weekend promises Coves for "you and your crew with chairs for everyone, food & drink delivered in minutes," and the venue sits "a few hundred yards from the beach." Lodging is a separate purchase. The event's travel and lodging page sends guests to rental partners with a three-night minimum.
That split matters if you live here, because the concert passes are sold on their own. As of mid-October 2026, the official passes page listed four options:
| Pass | Price listed, mid-October 2026 | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Lunatic Lounge Single-Day Pass | $199 per person per day | Available |
| Lunatic Lounge 3-Day Pass | $550 per person for 3 days | Available |
| 3-Day Cove | Not listed | Sold out |
| 3-Day Sunset Suite | Not listed | Sold out |
All passes include the Lunatic Lounge, the general-admission standing area right in front of the stage. The sold-out Coves come with reserved seating and food and drinks brought to you. A Lounge pass doesn't include delivery, but every pass holder can use the local food vendors, full-service bars, yard games and air-conditioned restrooms. Topeka says pass prices go up as the event gets closer, so the $199 figure was the mid-October price and may be higher by the time you check out.
At the listed prices, two single nights cost $398 and the full weekend costs $550. If you can only make one Shinedown set, the day pass is the cheaper way in. The lineup decides which night that is.
Pick the Night by the Lineup
Shinedown headlines twice, on Friday and Sunday. Topeka and Seascape publish the full roster but not a day-by-day schedule. JamBase lists it this way:
- Friday, October 23: Neon Mooners, Chris Porter, Hanson, Shinedown, DJ Rock Feed
- Saturday, October 24: Guardians Of The Jukebox, Living Colour, Bush, Zach, Ryan Rainbro
- Sunday, October 25: From Ashes to New, Shane Torres, Flyleaf, Lacey Sturm, Shinedown, Barry
Saturday is the only night without Shinedown, but it has Bush and Living Colour. Friday puts Hanson in front of the headliner. Sunday has the most bands, with Flyleaf and Lacey Sturm playing before the second Shinedown set. A $199 single-day pass gets you one of those three nights.
Getting In Without a Room Key
Topeka puts venue hours at about 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. each day. Visit South Walton's listing shows 3 p.m. for each date, so that may be an earlier start for some activities rather than the music. Use Topeka's 5 p.m. window when you plan the evening. The passes page says the event is all ages, and children under 3 get in free with a paid adult ticket.
The 2026 event pages say little about parking. The Tixr ticket page has a section called "Parking Passes & Coolers," and that is the place to check the current options before you leave.
Topeka's FAQ for an earlier Seascape weekend, Cowboy Moon in 2024, shows how the resort has handled locals in the past. None of this is confirmed for 2026:
- Guests staying outside Seascape could either use rideshare or buy a $100 three-day parking pass. Parking was just outside the venue's main entrance.
- Rideshare and drop-offs entered from the north, off US Hwy 98, using 100 Seascape Drive.
- Golf carts coming from outside the resort entered from the south at 556 Seascape Dr. Bike and golf-cart parking was free.
- Only Topeka-branded coolers were allowed, they had to come in empty, and coolers were not allowed in the front-row area.
If you live in one of the neighborhoods off Scenic Gulf Drive, the south golf-cart entrance is the one to confirm first. Under the 2024 rules, a golf cart parked for free while a car needed a $100 pass, and that was the biggest price gap in the old FAQ.
Two Weeks Later, Paying in Cash Saves Money
On Saturday, November 7, Seascape hosts the 12th Annual Eggs on the Beach Big Green Egg Cooking Competition at Seascape Towne Centre. It runs 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, outdoors behind Seascape Towne Centre overlooking the pond.
This event has a small price break that mostly helps people who live nearby. The tasters page lists these prices:
- In-store advance: $56 per adult, $20 per child age 11 to 17
- Online advance: $60 per adult, $21.50 per child
- Event day: $65 per adult, $25 per child
- Children 10 and under: free with a paid adult
In-store tickets are sold with cash or check at Bay Breeze Patio on Forest Shore Drive in Miramar Beach, and the organizers say buying there avoids the service fee. At those prices, a couple who buys in person in advance pays $112 instead of $130 at the gate.
A taster ticket includes unlimited bites, five votes for your favorite cooks, live music, Angel's Envy bourbon samples, a cash bar, a chance at prizes including a Mini-Max Big Green Egg, and college football at the Tiki Bar. Eventbrite lists free parking at Seascape Golf, Beach & Tennis Resort, 112 Seascape Dr. Proceeds benefit Fisher House of the Emerald Coast and Food for Thought.
Thanksgiving Takes a Reservation, Not a Rental
The last date on Seascape's fall calendar is Thanksgiving at Mezcal Mexican Grill on Thursday, November 26, 2026. It's a buffet-only meal. Seascape's event page says reservations are required, with three seatings and tables held for an hour and a half.
Bookings go through OpenTable for the restaurant at 80 Seascape Dr. 101, and the listing doesn't say you need to be a resort guest. Seascape's page lists an 11:00 a.m. seating but doesn't give the times for the other two, and it hasn't posted a buffet price. With only three seatings, the time slot you want could fill before the price is announced. That makes it worth booking early if you're hosting family who are flying in for the holiday.
The Venue Will Be Back in April
The Shinedown weekend is now Topeka's only fall 2026 weekend at Seascape. Rockin' in Paradise with Styx & Friends was scheduled for October 8 to 10, but its event page says it was canceled.
The spring calendar is fuller. Topeka has three Miramar Beach weekends listed for April 2027:
- Joe Bonamassa's Sound Wave Beach Weekend, April 9 to 11, at Seascape Resort
- Tedeschi Trucks Band Presents "Sun, Sand and Soul," April 15 to 17
- Moon Crush "Pink Moon," April 23 to 25
The venue was redesigned for the 2026 season. SoWal.com reported better sightlines, more shade and better lighting, plus a capacity of just over 6,000. In that same story, SoWal founder Kurt Lischka summed up the appeal:
"World-class bands, great service & no lines, beach breezes, superb places to stay overlooking the Gulf."
If you live nearby, you can skip the "places to stay" part. Whether single-day passes return for the April weekends will show up on each event's passes page once tickets go on sale, so that's the page to check when they do.
If you'd like to live within golf-cart distance of that calendar, Justin Myers and our team know the streets around Scenic Gulf Drive and can help you find a Miramar Beach home close to it. Find Your Emerald Coast Home.
